When I talk about harmful drinking I mean that you can
anticipate that something bad is going to happen and you do it
anyway. I used to do that all the time. I've even been arrested
three or four or five times. But I ain't got no legal problems
now. With any luck you don't either.
Anyway, here are a few questions to ask yourself:
Spend too much money on alcohol and neglect other
more necessary things?
Doctor tell you that your liver, etc. is giving
out?
Lose a job?
Any legal problems?
Friends and family disappointed/disgusted by your
behaviour?
Miss work and other important
functions?
I've done all of these things except my doctor didn't tell
me I had physical (liver) problems. And I always quit before I
got fired from a job. Being a drunk is the gift that just keeps
on giving.
